The Truth About Kaepernicking
Did you know? When Kap kisses his biceps, he is kissing a sketch of two hands praying and the words, “To God the glory.” It is to show the world he doesn't care about what they think about his tattoos and to scream out what he believe in.

Richard Sherman is an Intelligent Liar...and a Punk!!!
Okay, I have avoided putting anymore shine on this punk, but I've had enough. I am sick and tired of all the Seahawk fans putting that disrespectful punk, Richard Sherman, on a pedestal! And I don't just mean disrespectful to Crabtree...I mean his own team! He makes a great play - which, at the end of the day, all he did was tip the ball to his teammate, Malcolm Smith. If Smith didn't make that INT, it would still be 49ers' ball. But I digress, he makes a great play and proceeds to make a giant spectacle of himself, making the game about some “feud” he’s had with Crabtree since last April! He totally takes the attention of winning the game from his team and makes it all about him and some made up drama! I would be embarrassed if he represented anything I believed in - but not the Seahawk fans! They just adore him, don’t they?
Monday, after the NFC Championship Game, Sherman comes out with an article, putting his Stanford communications degree to work, and “sheds light” on why he acted like a fool. He thinks he can use flowery words to justify acting like a crazed maniac? Well, I have to give him credit. He is a smart guy - smart enough to know that, YES, he can act like a buffoon, and smooth it over with his eloquent words. Because, you see, it turns out, there are lot of brainless zombies that just takes everything he says to be a fact without thinking that there is another side to this bizarre story. Weren’t we taught growing up that we shouldn’t believe everything we read? This is prime example of why - you have a smart guy manipulating you into believing the lies coming out of his mouth! Sherman knows he can run his mouth because he can go to his computer at the end of the night and eloquently put into words what “happened” and put his twist into it. He can say whatever he wants and because he is well spoken, people just take it in as a fact.
Well, here’s another article for you all to read...another point of view of the events at that charity event, from someone who is not related personally or professionally to either athlete. I am not saying this article is a fact, only pointing out that there is more than one side to every story and we can’t all just use Sherman’s account of the event as the facts. If anything, he is the worst witness to the event because he is so emotionally tied to it, and he has clearly demonstrated he can’t keep his cool enough to think with a level head (sounds like a certain fan base...no wonder they all act justified in their actions).
With all that being said, let’s put something into perspective quickly:
How many people can you name that Crabtree has beef with? ...I can’t think of anyone outside of Sherman...
How many people can you name that Sherman has beef with? Michael Crabtree (49ers), Skip Bayless (ESPN commentator), Jim Harbaugh (49ers), Tom Brady (Patriots), Trent Williams (Redskins), Roddy White (Falcons), Darrelle Revis (Buccaneers), Joe Haden (Browns), and maybe his own shadow too.
With this side to side comparison of drama, who has set himself up to look like the troublemaker? Add his “debate” on ESPN against Skip Bayless to his maniacal outburst after the NFC Championship Game, and it is going to be pretty hard to believe that someone who doesn’t surround himself with drama (Crabtree) is now all of sudden picking on someone who was “just trying to shake his hand at a charity event.”
The truth of the matter is, Sherman has built his character to be a problematic young man who likes to instigate problems out of nothing and lies pathologically. He acts unprofessionally and then glosses over it with some beautifully written article that recounts events that do not match the film. Case in point, him “congratulating Harbaugh” after the Seahawks’ victory over the 49ers in week 2 this season. He recounts it as him trying to congratulate Harbaugh after the game and patting his butt, but he gets snubbed. If you actually look at the footage, you see Harbaugh walking off field, Sherman runs up behind him, slaps his butt and runs off as Harbaugh is turning around. Harbaugh didn’t even have a chance to snub him because he had no idea who smacked his butt to begin with...yet, all the Seahawk fans latch onto Sherman’s words that he was snubbed. Well, buddy...Harbaugh DID snub you...not in that game, but when he didn’t draft you for the 49ers, despite the higher ups telling him to.
While most players do their fair share of trash talking and on the receiving end of trash talking, Sherman has shown that he takes it personally, and goes crazy after everything is said and done. Most players just brush it off and move on because that’s the game...onto the next thing. But, clearly, Sherman is the type to hold onto something from nine months ago and make a spectacle of himself over it. And, clearly, he can dish it out, but he can’t take it himself.
So, if you couldn’t tell...I cannot stand Richard Sherman. I could almost respect him for being a good player, if he doesn’t let his big mouth and piss-poor unprofessional attitude ruin his actual career achievements. In a few years, his reputation for being a loud-mouth embarrassment will outshine his talents and what team would spend money on someone who will make them look trashy? Maybe the Seahawks will? With a cheater at the helm in Pete Carroll, I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t condone this kind of embarrassing behavior!

Harbaugh's Updates on the 49ers Injuries
Harbaugh's updates on the 49ers injuries:
NaVorro Bowman: The 49ers linebacker has an ACL tear and the team will wait and see how his MCL heals before he undergoes ACL surgery. Coach Harbaugh said it would be at least a two or three week wait before ACL surgery.
Frank Gore: He suffered a broken right ring finger and will undergo surgery to repair it. Coach Harbaugh said he was not aware of the injury until after the game.
Mike Iupati: He will not need surgery on his fractured fibula. The leg will be casted up and he will recover accordingly. As we discussed yesterday, the expectation is he will be back to 100 percent within eight weeks.
Joe Staley: He suffered a compound fracture of his thumb, but played through the rest of the game with it after getting it patched up on the sideline. No word on if he just bandages it up and lets it heal, or if he needs stitches, or what, but he should be fine pretty quickly.
Chris Culliver: He has begun sprinting.
Ian Williams: He is walking around. I (Fooch) believe that he is out of his walking boot and moving on in his rehab.
Marcus Lattimore: Coach Harbaugh expects him to be full go in time for OTAs.
Tarell Brown: He suffered cracked ribs and cartilage damage against the Saints on November 17. He said he is getting more medical opinions to decide if he should get surgery.

GBT's MVP of Week 15 - Colin Kaepernick
As voted by fellow faithful and gold blooded, Kaepernick is this week's MVP!
Near the end of the 2012 NFL season, Kaepernick's fast rise to success, entertaining read-option style, and frequent trips to the endzone, quickly earned him a photo fad by his namesake, called "Kaepernicking". The signature touchdown pose involves flexing and kissing the bicep of one arm, with a clenched fist resting on your head.
Here's Kap's bio from Wikipedia...
Colin Kaepernick is a multi-racial American Football Quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, born on November 3, 1987 to 19 year old Heidi Russo in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Heidi gave her baby up for adoption to Rick and Teresa Kaepernick, who had two children already - son Kyle and daughter Devon. Rick and Teresa had lost two other sons to heart defects before Colin became their youngest child. At age four, the Kaepernicks moved to Turlock, CA. He is Christian and has multiple bible verses tattooed on his body as a symbol of his belief.
Kaepernick was very athletic growing up. He began playing youth football at age eight as a defensive end and punter. He then became his youth team's starting quarterback at age nine, and he completed his first competitive pass for a long touchdown. He went on to win several punt, pass, and kick competitions mainly on his passing ability. He attended John H. Pitman High School in Turlock where he played football, baseball and basketball in high school, as well as maintain a 4.0 GPA. Kaepernick was nominated for all-state in football, basketball, and baseball in his senior year. He was the MVP of the Central California Conference in football leading his school to its first-ever playoff victory. In basketball he was a first-team all CCC selection at forward and led his 16th-ranked team to a near upset of the Number 1-ranked Oak Ridge Trojans in the opening round of playoffs. In that game Kaepernick scored 34 points, although that was not enough as Ryan Anderson scored 50 to beat the Pitman Pride. Nevada was the only school that offered him a football scholarship, but was concerned that he would opt for baseball until he signed in February 2006.
In the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft, Kaepernick was drafted in the 43rd round by the Chicago Cubs, but decided that he wanted to continue to play football at the University of Nevada and chose not to sign with the Cubs.
On April 29, 2011, the San Francisco 49ers traded up with the Denver Broncos from the thirteenth pick in the second round (#45 overall) to select Colin Kaepernick as the fourth pick in the second round (#36 overall) at the 2011 NFL Draft. The Denver Broncos received picks 45, 108 and 141 overall in exchange for the 36th overall pick. Kaepernick began his pro career as the 49ers' backup to starter Alex Smith. In the middle of the 2012 season, Kaepernick filled in for an injured Smith and became the full-time starter as the 49ers advanced to the NFL playoffs for the second straight season. He set an NFL record for most rushing yards (181) by a quarterback in a game (playoffs or regular season) in his first playoff game. After beating the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship 28-24, he led the 49ers to their first Super Bowl since 1994.
In his first career postseason start, the 49ers won 45–31 against the Green Bay Packers, and he set an NFL single-game record for most rushing yards by a quarterback with 181, breaking Michael Vick's record of 173 in a 2002 regular season game. He also broke the 49ers postseason rushing record, regardless of position. Kaepernick carried the ball 16 times for 181 yards and scrambled five times for 75 yards, including touchdowns of 20 and 56 yards, and collected another 99 yards rushing on zone-read option plays. He also passed for 263 yards and two touchdowns. In total, Kaepernick had 444 yards of total offense with 4 TDs. Kaepernick became the third player after Jay Cutler in 2011 and Otto Graham in both 1954 and 1955 to run for two touchdowns and pass for two others in a playoff game. In the NFC Championship game, the 49ers defeated the Atlanta Falcons 28–24 with Kaepernick completing 16 out of 21 passes for 233 yards and one touchdown. The team advanced to Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans against the Baltimore Ravens, which the 49ers lost 31-34.
